Data policy for the app 3DScoreBuddy

The app 3D ScoreBuddy is used for the electronic input of results from archery.

Data usage in offline mode (default)

In offline mode (standard) no data are collected by the user and no data is sent to our server. The processing of the shot results is performed exclusively on the local device. This includes the registered participants, location data and results.

Data Use in Cloud Connect Mode

In the "Cloud Connect" mode, the device's camera is optionally used to scan QR codes from tournament suspensions and use the information obtained (tournament ID and tournament ID) to connect to our server. Diesel data can also be entered manually without scanning a code.

During the tournament, a unique device key is generated via "Cloud Connect" and sent to our servers together with the participant names and the respective shot results, and saved to the score of the evaluation and statistics.

The evaluated data are sent to the respective association (organizer of a tournament) for use, e.g. Own evaluation programs.

The built-in push notification sends a clear GCM key (Google Cloud Messaging) to the server. This service is used to notify you about tournament start or finish, for example.

Further data such as the recorded location information are generally not sent to the servers.
